Who is SML Bourbon?
Life for me ain't been sunshine and rainbows. Grew up right here in Louisville, and at 15 experienced something no kid should - my pops murdered, cold on the ground. That pain runs deep, but it ain't the only story I'm here to tell.
Today, I'm a proud father to my amazing 6-year-old son. His momma struggles with somethin' heavy, somethin' that keeps her trapped inside. So, here I am, raising our little man and fightin' for every smile.
Life threw another curveball a few months ago. Battled kidney failure, landed in ICU, and the woman I thought I'd spend forever with, well, she walked away. But you know what? That darkness led me to light. Met this incredible woman who believed in me, pushed me to be a better man. Together, we left the street life behind and found a new purpose: fightin' the violence that stealin' our youth.
My music ain't sugar-coated. It's the truth, raw and uncut. The struggles, the triumphs, the fight for a better tomorrow. This blog is my story, my escape, and a way to connect with anyone who feels like they're hustlin' uphill. Let's talk real life, Louisville. Let's heal together.
